Instagram is a social media app launched in 2010. Along with Twitter and Facebook it's one of the "3 kings of social media". Since it does have a user base of 100 million people I bet I dont have to explain to you how to use it. And if you are going to use it you might as well exploit it's full benefits. Having a large following on instagram can help your life in many ways. You can market your website, you can share your photographs and/or drawings and you can even work with brands and promote their products for compensation.
In this blog post I will give you a few tips on how to increase your followers.
1) Make your instagram profile is public
•You'll have to sacrifice your privacy for a shot at the good life.
2) Find your niche and share high - quality content
•If you are a photographer and instagram is your "portfolio" use it wisely. Make sure your uploads are original. This will make your followers increase and will make them visit your website.
•If you are an anime page (ex. worldwideanime) make sure you upload interesting anime pics that are appropriate for tweens since a lot of kids use instagram.
•If you are an artist, upload high quality pics of your drawings/paintings. Market them on instagram and sell them on another site.
3)Use Hashtags
•There are 100 million instagram users and hashtags help your uploads reach them.
•Use this when tagging your photos.
4)Do shoutouts ... in moderation
• Shoutouts do increase your followers but do it too much and you will lose followers.
At the end of the day followers will follow you for different reasons. Just remember that it's all about having fun.
