Robin Williams was a great actor. He appeared in critically and financially successful movies. Some of them more recognizable than " One Hour Photo " . But this will always be my favorite scene of his, because he was an avid gamer and watched anime. His daughter is proof of that.
When he is talking to the kid , I truly believe the smile in his face is from the actor not the character.
The scene consists of a kid showing a toy to Robin William's character. The toy is from " Neon Genesis Evangelion ". In the movie he does not know anything about the anime but there's something in his voice that says otherwise. A true lover of art.
